wellPlaying – The future of student wellbeing

What is wellbeing? Which factors are important for the improvement of student wellbeing?

Wellbeing problems among students have considerably increased in recent years. The working restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic have fuelled this development even more so. The event explores the ways to prevent student wellbeing problems and to promote student wellbeing through the dynamic approach to school improvement (DASI).

Student wellbeing is an important element of education and overall student success. With wellbeing issues rising steadily and the COVID-19 pandemic, so is the demand for projects like ours. Our project, wellPlaying, is a research-based project to address student wellbeing problems with games using DASI. wellPlaying will empower teachers with the tools necessary to prevent student wellbeing problems and improve student wellbeing overall. This also translates to enhancing student learning outcomes.

We believe that wellPlaying has the potential to reach thousands of school children and address wellbeing issues before they have the chance to build up.
