Tripping the light fantastic: A most scientifical ceilidh

7:00pm-10:00pm on Friday 20 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

University Centre, Granta Place Mill Lane, CB2 1RU

This enjoyable event marks the return to Cambridge of the famous Science Week Ceilidh, last seen pre-COVID.

The event is run by the Red Rock Ceilidh Band (musicians from Cambridge and London). We design ceilidh dances that are based on scientific principles. Each dance is accompanied by a short explanation of matters of scientific interest, and the dances are then explained by our callers, who are all members of the band.

It is a lot of fun, and is suitable for young and old alike.
