Time of Your Life

11:00am-4:00pm on Saturday 16 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology, Robinson Way (Close to the Junction of Robinson Way and Long Road), CB2 0SZ

Time of Your Life is a hands-on activity for all ages that will demonstrate the pervasive influence of our body clock in our day-to-day life and how the clock works at the cellular level; it will also demonstrate the daily variability in measurable activities through interactive “Chronolympics” games.

Together with visitors, researchers from the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology will explore our ongoing questions: What is a circadian rhythm? Why do we have a circadian rhythm? Where is the circadian clock? How is it synchronised with day/night? What do we know about circadian medicine and disease?
