Talkaoke Asks...

4:30pm-6:00pm on Saturday 27 March
4:30pm-6:00pm on Saturday 3 April

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 27th March. For events on or after 28th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Talkaoke is a pop up talk show where anyone can sit down and air their views around the table of chat. The People Speak have been running Talkaoke events from street corners to theatres, galleries, conferences, festivals all around the world, and now they are venturing online! The Talkaoke conversation is a journey from one unexpected subject to another. It can be topical, funny, deep, out-there, or all of the above. Talkaoke is a great chance to hear the latest ideas that people are talking about and to generate and discover new ones. Join experts from the Wellcome Genome Campus, the University of Cambridge and other Cambridge institutes for a fun filled, often surprising, conversational adventure!

The People Speak

The People Speak are a collective of international arts practitioners based in East London. They use performance art, multi-media and technology to stimulate discussion, generate ideas, and inform decision making in the public and cultural sphere through fun, interactive formats.
