The Cambridge Festival can be an amazing, but also exhausting time. This drop-in session provides a space for you to write, reflect or work on whatever it is that you need to get done. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, so don’t worry if this is your first time joining a session like this. Writing is part of our everyday lives – whether it’s through academic writing, homework or keeping a journal!

All types of writers are welcome in this session.

When you show up, say hello to everyone, and get your writing tools ready. Once you’re all settled, take some time to chat with your fellow writers. And once everyone’s arrived, a member of our team will lead quick introductions, and then set the timer for a quiet and focused writing session.

Afterwards, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. We often talk about our successes and challenges. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries!

Hosted in collaboration with Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education, Cambridge ThinkLab and the Shut Up & Write! non-profit organisation.
