Museum of Zoology, Downing Street, CB2 3EJ

Explore environmental change with artworks created by students and staff of the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts. This innovative collaboration between the Museum of Zoology and CSVPA examines environmental change through a sensory lens. Students from a range of creative disciplines—including graphics and illustration, fashion design, animation, fine art, music and drama—explore the impacts of environmental threats on wildlife, offering narratives of resilience alongside cautionary tales. The display features paper constructions, animations, a striking 8.3-meter-long drawing, a large-scale sculpture, augmented reality experiences and digital fashion. These works bring to life how animals experience and adapt to a rapidly changing planet. To experience the performance elements of this project, see the Sensing Change Live Performance on Wednesday 26 March.
