What is ‘colour’? How many can we actually see? And where do they come from? Step into the world of colour at our interactive stand, where you’ll discover the surprising origins of colours in everyday life. Discover the art of creating colours – from plant pigments to gold nanoparticles – and take home some tips and tricks to showcase the entire spectrum in your own space. Our researchers will be sharing the colourful science behind the way we see the world.
So come for the NanoRainbow and stay around for a bit of fun science.
Please note that this activity does not last four hours and you can come in anytime between 10 am - 2 pm. Also, the capacity number indicated refers to the amount of total visitors we are able to take in for this activity throughout that four-hour time frame.
However, if you came in at a time when there are a lot of people involved in the activity, we may need to pause entry temporarily if we reach maximum room capacity.
