This safe-falling workshop with Dr Katrina McDonald [https://www.aru.ac.uk/people/katrina-mcdonald] will use principles from the sport of judo to teach health practitioners how to apply the principles of falling safely. By sharing the principles from judo, this work can help to reduce the risks and impacts of a fall. This workshop is designed for health practitioners, including people who are working in strength and balance, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Please get in touch if you are unsure whether this workshop would be suitable for you.

During this practical session, participants must be ready to try the principles of how to fall safely on judo mats. Please wear comfy clothing, preferably trousers.
