4:30pm-6:00pm on Wednesday 18 March
online, online, online
Please note that this event will now be delivered ONLINE rather than in-person as previously advertised.
What does a safe and welcoming online world look like? And how can we protect people, especially children, young people and vulnerable communities, while also respecting privacy, freedom and democracy?
In this session, we will explore practical ways to keep people safe online. We will talk about how parents can better understand and support their children in the digital world. We will also look at how artificial intelligence (AI) could help to prevent online harm and make the internet a safer place for everyone. We will share how our research institute is contributing to this goal, by developing new tools, insights and technologies to protect individuals and support safer, more inclusive online environments.
