Project MoonBase: Data and Communications

All day from Friday 26 March until Sunday 4 April

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 27th March. For events on or after 28th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Use plans we provide to make a spectroscope and parabolic dish, which demonstrate how data on space missions like lunar rovers can be gathered and sent back to Earth. The plans use commonly available materials and the Outreach team will be on hand to help with any issues.  Part of the Project MoonBase event, run in conjunction with the Department of Engineering and the Institute of Astronomy.
