Play guitar like an AI Jimi Hendrix!

12:00pm-3:00pm on Saturday 22 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Computer Laboratory, William Gates Building 15 JJ Thomson Avenue, CB3 0FD

This drop-in activity is taking place as part of the Open Day at the Department of Computer Science and Technology.

Come and play with an AI tool that lets you manipulate the sounds of an electric guitar and meet the researcher working on ways to create music with AI. Using hands-on devices, experiment with changing the quality of the notes. You can make them warm or bright, sharp or soft, pure or fuzzy. Or you can distort them to mimic the sounds of Jimi Hendrix's famous wah-wah pedal!
