Join science writer Dr. Letizia Diamante (https://letiziadiamante.com/) for a workshop about the mouth, inspired by her new book “OPEN WIDE!”. Get ready for a journey inside the mouth and explore the fang-tastic jaws of humans and animals (including some truly weird ones!). Do animals lose their baby teeth like us? Why do we even have teeth in the first place? Couldn’t we just swallow our food like chickens do? This interactive event is perfect for kids who love learning fun animal facts. From the great white sharks and dinosaurs to mosquitoes and lice, there will be something surprising for everyone to learn. And mouths aren’t just for munching! Discover how animals use their mouths to carry their babies, build homes, and even climb waterfalls. Signed books will be available for sale.
