Throughout the 2021 Cambridge Festival we will be providing a series of talks about astronomy on our YouTube channel!


We will have a children's lecture by astronomer Isobel Romero-Shaw, who will talk about "Planetymology" on Saturday 27th March at 11am.o


From Monday 29th March to Friday 2nd April will be 'Black Hole Wars' week, with new talks every day at 6pm:


  - Monday 29th March: Black Hole Wars I - Cause and No Effect?

  - Tuesday 30th March: Black Hole Wars II - Return of the Susskind

  - Wednesday 31st March: Black Hole Wars III - A Curved Hope

  - Thursday 1st April: Black Hole Wars IV - Rise of the dimensions

  - Friday 2nd April: Black Hole Wars V - Return of the information


We will have a special Cambridge Festival Open Evening on Wednesday 31st March at 7:15pm. Dr Gareth Jones will talk about "The Distant and Dusty Universe".


Our librarian Mark Hurn will talk about 'Historical Telescopes of the Cambridge Observatory' on Saturday 3rd April at 3pm.


Finally, cosmologist Dr Chandrima Ganguly will talk about "Decolonising Science" on Sunday 4th April at 3pm.
