Scientists from the Medical Research Council’s Laboratory of Molecular Biology will teach visitors how scientists unlock the mysteries of life by studying its constituent parts at vastly different scales. Visitors can see how advanced microscopy techniques can be used to study developing tissue, single cells, and even individual molecules. Visitors can then learn to use microscopes themselves in a fun game where they learn the importance of molecular biology by matching mutated microscopic worms to the mutated gene that they contain!
