Make your own reaction game!

10:30am-4:00pm on Saturday 21 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Computer Laboratory, William Gates Building 15 JJ Thomson Avenue, CB3 0FD

Images will appear on the micro:bit’s display, and the aim of the game is to react to the appearance of an image by pressing your switch as fast as you can. Challenge an opponent – a friend, family member or a fellow visitor – to play the game with you and compete to see who can react the fastest!

You’ll be given the base code for the reaction game, and can then think about how to make it better and put your changes into practice with the assistance of a student helper.

The reaction game challenge is just one of a range of activities taking place during the Department of Computer Science and Technology Open Day.
