Logan Dandridge is the visual artist selected for the first Cavendish Arts Science Fellowship at Girton College, a year-long engagement through which he is developing new art and ideas that explore these and other questions through dialogue and collaboration with physicists. Logan’s art interweaves research into the aesthetics of the black radical tradition and black visual and sonic culture with experimental moving-image works that combine language, poetry, sound and rhythm with fragmented and found images.
Cavendish Arts Science is a programme developed at the Cavendish Laboratory which aims to support collaborative and creative processes that help us to examine the world and our place within it through the creation of new contemporary art.
Join us for a screening of Logan’s work, followed by a discussion with Suchitra Sebastian, Quantum Materials physicist and Director of Cavendish Arts Science.
