Help us decide which cardiovascular science projects to fund!
In this (kind and supportive) Dragon’s Den-style event you will hear short presentations from six early career researchers, each with a new research idea they’d like us to fund. Alongside our panel of senior researchers, you will have a chance to vote for your favourites. At the end of the evening, two of the projects presented will receive a funding award from Cambridge Cardiovascular* and there will also be a small ‘people’s choice’ prize for the runner up with the most audience votes. The evening will include chances for you to question the applicants and panel members. If you have time, you’re welcome to stay for informal chats, over refreshments.
This fun event will be enjoyed by adults and teens. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/carer and 16-17 year olds should be accompanied by someone aged 18+.
*Cambridge Cardiovascular is a University-funded network for people working in an around Cambridge in cardiovascular research.
