Join Aeronautical Engineers from the Department of Engineering for a practical investigation of flight.

Can you make a kite that flies? Can you control it? Tried and tested designs are available, from simple sled kites to sophisticated delta wing aircraft. Or make your own designs using the equipment available.

Part of the Department of Engineering's Community Open Day, linked to a lecture "How wings work" by Dr Kshitij Sabnis and Pascal Gehlert at 1045.
