Have you ever wondered how a baby’s brain receives hunger signals from the mother during pregnancy? Visit the Hungry Brain Carnival! This interactive booth guides students through fun activities showing how the brain controls hunger, fullness, and energy use. Children will explore how a mother’s environment sends clues to a developing baby, shaping how the brain learns about the food environment before birth. They will also discover that metabolic health is influenced by genetics, early development, stress, food access, and the environment, not just lifestyle choices.
