This drop-in activity is taking place as part of the Open Day at the Department for Computer Science and Technology. Come along and find out what happens to our brains when we listen to music for relaxation or sleep. Does listening to music work for everyone the same way or does it vary? And can we make music that is tuned to our own brain waves so it becomes our own personalised therapy programme for relaxation and sleep? Research shows that it is possible to create personalised music therapy powered by artificial intelligence and neurofeedback. Join the researchers from the 'BrainTwin' project (part of the Accelerate Programme for Scientific Discovery) to explore this concept, discuss the science - and even try it out for yourself.
