Following last year's sell-out success and many requests to run these again, the Department of Pathology is delighted to see the return of our medical masterclasses. This year we are able to offer an increased number of these sessions.

The sessions are aimed at Year 12 students who are intending to apply for medicine in the 2022/23 UCAS round, and due to the nature of some of the material which may be covered we strongly advise that attendees should be over the age of 16. After a talk delivered by one of the Department's academic clinicians, there will be a Q&A session led by a Director of Studies for Medicine from one of the Cambridge colleges with input from current medical students. This is your opportunity to learn more about an area of cutting edge medical research and then question the experts about application forms, admissions interviews and life as a medical student. The session is suitable for everyone interested in medicine - not just those thinking of applying to the University of Cambridge.

Booking is required and, as previously, we are limiting attendance to ensure that all attendees who wish to get the opportunity to ask questions. Due to the popularity of these events, we would request that out of fairness attendees book to attend one session only. The sessions will run on-line.
