Conserving tropical rainforests

All day on Saturday 3 April

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 27th March. For events on or after 28th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Join us for a personal message from Steve Backshall where he tells us why he's optimistic about our natural world and how he is helping the World Land Trust  conserve tropical rainforests. We'll then journey over to Brazil where Michael Palin will share a remarkable story of how a rainforest there is making a comeback and allowing the wildlife to return. The forest is not only providing valuable habitat for its remarkable plants and animals, but it is supporting the livelihoods of those who live there. The video showcases the work of Brazil's Reserva Ecológica de Guapiaçu through support from the World Land Trust.
