How do today’s scientific discoveries become tomorrow’s life-saving cancer treatments?

This event reveals how teams at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute work hand in hand with clinicians at Addenbrooke’s Hospital to transform fundamental research into new therapies for patients.

You’ll discover the stories behind two Cambridge-developed trials that are now underway:

• PIONEER – this trial is investigating a new treatment strategy for post-menopausal women with breast cancer.

• CRISTAL-APC – this trial is combining standard chemotherapy with a new drug for people with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Join us to explore the long journey from breakthrough idea to real change for patients.
