10:30am-4:00pm on Saturday 29 March
Museum of Cambridge, Enid Porter Room, 2/3 Castle Street, CB3 0AQ
Join Babraham Institute researchers to explore what it means to age and how the molecular processes in our bodies change as we develop from an embryo all the way through to old age and quiz our scientists about what they do each day. The exhibition will showcase our cutting-edge research and how it is helping to enable healthy ageing in the future through art pieces and interactive activities for all ages. It will also feature posters and art pieces from our school community partners reflecting how the next generation see the impact of our research.
You can also discover more about our history and how the Institute has changed over the years. From a Roman settlement on the site, to our time as the Institute of Animal Physiology, through to the opening of the Babraham Institute and development of the current site. What will science in Cambridgeshire look like in years to come?
The Babraham Institute is a life science research institute dedicated to making the fundamental discoveries needed to maintain health and improve wellbeing throughout life. Our ground-breaking research in human biology sparks the innovative advances that will improve and protect lifelong health.
We are committed to being open about our science, including listening to concerns and participating in dialogue about the process of our research and its eventual applications, and to undertaking our research responsibly. Above all, we are passionate about what we do, and about undertaking research and acting in a way that makes a difference.
